Who am I?
My name is Rivkah and I am a SAHM of 6 children. I am a worshipper, a home educator, a certifying birth doula, a lover of all things God, pregnancy, birth,marriage, and education.
Here’s the long(er) story, the true story of why this blog, and why now?
I started my journey of faith at 18 years old. It was just a couple months before I met my husband and we were married just a few months later. Our marriage has had God’s hand in it from the very beginning and I am so thankful for that. When I say God’s hand was in our marriage, that doesn’t mean we had it easy. We were still 2 sinners who had their own opinion of what this was supposed to look like.
Fast forward just 3 months and I was pregnant with baby number 1. Having recently migrated to be with my husband I didn’t have as much support as I needed, and didn’t even see a doctor until I was 6 months pregnant! I did a lot of research and unfortunately I wasn’t looking in the best places (more on this later). Fast forward just another 3 months after having my daughter I was pregnant again! How was I going to do this? I was still figuring out how to take care of 1 child! Now we were going to have to be the responsible parents of 2 children! As I watched my daughters growing up and going through those ‘rough’ toddler years I decided I was done having children. (Note the ‘I’)
However God got a hold of my heart and not only did I feel Him leading me to have more children, I also found Him leading me to become a better wife, a better mother to the treasures He had given me AND to home educate, something I didn’t even know was a possibility. So here I was a young mum, first generation homeschooler who didn’t have a clue what she was doing, and now 3 years later was pregnant with baby number 3, another sweet baby girl and my first encounter of God being at the centre of my birth. 3 years later came my first son and my first pain free birth! And another 3 years here were my boy/girl TWINS!
This is a condensed version of my story which I will elaborate on in my blog posts. So here is what you can expect from my blog:

As believers we have been told God is always there but we don’t always ‘see’ Him at work, sometimes we are looking to the big picture and miss the little things. God is ALWAYS doing something! On the other hand sometimes our faith needs work as we get busy with life and forget to include God in our day to day lives.
This blog is a statement of faith. A document I want to use to encourage others and glorify God! I am not perfect, but I DO hope you will join me on this journey of faith, life and love. Learn as I learn, cry as I cry, rejoice as I rejoice, and hopefully I can do the same with you.
